Adding little red to your life
Connecting to red, we boost our vitality and strength. This color relates to the instinct for survival or for procreation. It speaks to personal safety and security and our fundamental basic needs. When our beliefs around these basic needs are limited, it culminates into an imbalance and as a result show up physically in our bodies or environment, such as:
- energy levels,
- confidence,
- often feeling depressed
- you function out of fear
- often surrounded by family issues
- make a daily list of things you are grateful for
Find ways to:
- ground to the earth, either working in soil, walking barefoot or
- doing little art exercises that includes the color red.
- Practicing mindful activities such as balancing your breathing taking in deep breaths counting until 4, hold for 4 and exhaling for 4.
- decorate your home with red
- eat red foods
Start listening to the words you say to yourself and others and how this impacts you perception of who you are
