Our brain is always on. It works 24/7 just so that our body can function optimally. This means that it requires continuous energy for it to function optimally. When we feed our brains the incorrect 'stuff' to handle our high performance days. Studies has shown that diets high in refined sugars has some impact on mood disorders and can have worsening of symptoms such as depression.


1. Get back on track on vitamins

2. Include a diet of high vegetables, fruits, unprocessed grains, and fish and seafood and only modest amounts of meat and dairy.

3. Start paying attention to eating different foods makes amd specifically on how it makes you feel, not in the moment but also the next day

4. Try eating a 'clean' diet for two to three weeks, which means no processed foods and sugar. Journal your process on a physical, mental and emotional level
