This layered hand-cut paper work explores depth, stillness, and dimension. Built in tonal blue, the piece draws the eye inward through repeating structure and shadow, until it arrives at the central opening of light. That quiet point of brightness becomes the heart of the composition, where we find rest and the Divine.
For me, this work was about the idea that light is often encountered through depth: through layers, pauses, and the discipline of looking more closely. The geometry creates order and containment, while the glowing centre introduces warmth, focus, and presence. Together, they suggest an inner stillness shaped by structure and guided by light.
